The Glacier Bay National Park sign is illuminated beneath the ethereal glow of the aurora borealis and the sweeping band of the Milky Way. In southeast Alaska, the skies are often cloudy and even thought the aurora might be out, it can be seen. Sometimes everything lines up and a shot like this is possible, if only for a moment.
