A vibrant meadow bursts with the purple of lupine and the scarlet, orange, and yellow of Indian paintbrush, thriving amidst lush green leaves. This colorful foreground scene perfectly captures the resilience and beauty of wildflowers found in Glacier Bay's varied ecosystem. As a photographer that has lived in the area for a quarter century, I have tens of thousands of images from Glacier Bay. But this shot is one of only about six that I have had printed to hang in my own home. I love the density, diversity and color of this collection of wildflowers. Photographer: Sean Neilson
